Today, after a long period of testing, drop.org announces the release of Drupal 1.00. Drupal is a full-featured content management / discussion program that uses Apache / PHP / MySQL and is suitable for news-sharing communities or portals like kuro5hin.org and slashdot.org. Current features include discussion forums, web management interface, support for topics, open question lists, content management, modular structure, support for PHP sessions, user management with access control and filters for user names / unwanted content / hosts, error logs, diary module , module similar sites, generating RSS / RDF feeds and much more.
