DALER: and crawls and flies (remote control)

Yes, the statement “Born to crawl cannot fly” is not always fair. The device with remote control, developed by Louis Daler (Ludovic Daler) can do both. The device, called DALER (Deployable Air Land Exploration Robot + author's name, yes), crawls at the speed of a turtle, and the movement of the device on the surface of the earth is similar to how sea turtles move on sand.

By the way, it can crawl on almost any surface / rugged terrain, including snow, asphalt, ordinary soil.

It flies too well, however, the DALER cannot take off on its own, so you have to launch it, as they say, manually. The flight path can be changed by changing the configuration of the wing in flight. Landing, the device can crawl to its owner, allowing it to remain in place.

In general, the device is interesting. Personally, I prefer the flying machine on the radio, but DALER is also nothing. And yes, for now this is only a prototype, probably in the near future we will see improved versions of a creeping-flying robot.
