MP Mezulina refused from her words about the bill - poll

The head of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Elena Mizulina said that the bill to block sites for the use of obscene words has not yet been developed. "We have no bill, we have not developed," - RIA Novosti reports the words of the deputy.

Mizulina stressed that parliamentarians would like the Internet industry itself to deal with obscene language. “Either the community itself settles this issue, or we will have to resort to a tool of legislative initiative. We hope that we will be heard and we will not have to introduce the corresponding bill, ”she said.

The head of the committee indicated that on July 30 a round table will be held in the State Duma, at which the deputies plan to discuss with representatives of the Internet community how to deal with obscene language. According to Mizulina, there is a “surplus” of mat on the Internet.

The fact that Elena Mizulina is preparing a bill providing for the blocking of websites, forums and social networking pages for using obscene expressions, the Izvestia newspaper reported earlier on July 26. The publication cited the words of the deputy, who stressed that the need for legislative regulation is explained by the large number of complaints from parents. “Parents are concerned that children may have the wrong stereotype, that foul language is normal vocabulary, although in reality this is far from true,” the newspaper quoted Mizulinu.

Senator Ruslan Gattarov, in particular, reacted to her proposal. He stressed that Roskomnadzor, who was asked to entrust the fight with obscenities on the web, would not cope with the flow of complaints.

The news is more positive than negative, because in my deep understanding, all the same, the Internet community should be governed by the community itself.
Hence a small survey.
