- This is due to the fact that we receive a lot of complaints from parents, that there is an excessive amount of foul language in online publications and social networks that children visit. Parents are concerned that children may have the wrong stereotype, that foul language is a normal vocabulary, although in reality this is far from the case, Mizulina explains.
In order to “protect children” from the terrible Internet, the deputy proposes to add pages with obscene posts to the registry and block them.
“This is, of course, not about the entire social network, but about the pages of the guilty users,” adds Elena Mizulina, who, apparently, is personally going to purchase and install to all DPI providers.
Member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Vadim Dengin (LDPR) supports the idea - he is confident that you need to deal with obscene language on the Internet by any means.
- We must oblige hosting providers and owners of Internet resources to control the entire flow of information laid out in the form of comments on the site. Accordingly, if comments with obscene language appear, they should be removed within a maximum of three days, Vadim Dengin comments.
On July 30, a round table will be held in the State Duma, during which members of the committee on family issues, women and children, together with representatives of the Ministry of Communications, Roskomnadzor, members of the Public Chamber and representatives of the Internet sphere will decide how to reduce the number of Internet mat. Together they will develop proposals that will form the basis of amendments to the law.
