American artist
Hal Lasko (Hal Lasko) works in a mixed style of
pointillism and 8-bit art. Despite his venerable 97-year-old, his grandfather (as his relatives call him) still holds the mouse tightly in his hand.
Graphic editor Microsoft Paint is enough for his needs. Moreover, it is best suited, based on the specifics of pointillism - this is a technique of drawing with separate strokes of regular, pointed or rectangular shape.
In World War II, Hal Lasko drew guide and weather maps for the bombing, and after the service he worked as a typographer, until he retired in the 70s. A few decades later, relatives bought him a PC with the Windows 95 operating system and showed him Microsoft Paint, and the “granddaddy” (then he was a little over 80) got carried away. Several art exhibitions of his works have already taken place, and they are even
sold online .
