It is amazing how inventive the sons of heaven. A couple of days ago, the Chinese lad Prog Wang posted in his blog a photo of the process of collecting the prototype of the combat robot MA-TB, assembled from the old Nissan of his father.

Under the cut there are several photos and a
very free translation of the description of the process from the author.
Caution, a lot of photos!

My father's old nissan. By the way, my father did not particularly share my idea, because the machine was still working properly.

But still…
The frame of the legs was still assembled on the ground. It was possible to finally balance the construction later, only when the upper part was ready.

Skeleton top. Sufficiently weighty design, thanks to which we managed to balance everything.

We use fuel tanks as sufficiently large parts that perfectly occupy the space without the need to add extra parts. The chairs on this photo are from Lincoln.

I adapted them as knees.

Added more details. The whole structure has ceased to be stable due to a large amount of weight that is chaotically added, so I had to significantly strengthen the part between the body and the legs so that they would not fall apart.

Begin to collect the upper part of the body. These shoulders are made of very thin metal, which cannot simply be welded so they practically do not participate as supporting parts of the skeleton. I had to add quite a lot of additional parts in order to strengthen them enough to fix the guns on them.

The most exciting part - the guns are ready!

And the most difficult part - I had to get on the very structure to complete their assembly.

I continue to add, add and add details after the basic design is almost complete.

Primer!

Final painting and stickers.

MA-TB READY TO FIGHT !!!
And a few more photos of the result from different angles:

The only thing, it’s a pity that the resulting prototype is not yet able to move, however, according to the author, for now this is only a general concept and sooner or later, he promises to please the public with a similar model already on hydraulic drives.
