iPhone has become the most popular surfing device.

During the Christmas period, the number of visits to the Google site from Apple iPhone computers exceeded the number of visits from any other mobile device. Thus, for a short time, the “iPhone” has become the most popular device for surfing the Internet . True, after a couple of days, traffic from iPhons fell lower than the indicator of Nokia-made devices on the Symbian operating system, but it remained in second place. Given that under Symbian there is a whole family of different models, it is possible to say with confidence that the Apple iPhone is still the most popular device.

This is an amazing fact, considering that the share of Apple iPhone in the global market for smartphones and communicators is only a modest 2% , while Symbian - 63%, Windows Mobile - 11%. Other sources, including Yahoo portal and AdMob advertising platform for mobile sites, said similar imbalances in traffic (i.e., the abnormal popularity of “iPhones”).

Experts attribute this phenomenon to the fact that the “iPhone” has become the world's first mobile device from which it is really convenient to browse websites. The problem of mobile surfing persisted for over a decade, and now it has been solved.
