New contests for developers on Windows Phone 8

We are happy to share interesting news for developers.
By the release of the Nokia Lumia 1020 and the new Imaging SDK, we timed the launch of two contests: Nokia Future / Capture and Nokia Imaging Wiki Competition 2013Q3 , which are designed to expand the possibilities of working with images and, of course, encourage the best developers.
For all interested in creating applications on Windows Phone and wishing to take part in competitions, welcome under cat.

At this competition, we expect developers to develop innovative applications or innovative approaches to implement any Nokia Lumia 1020 function. They should take full advantage of the technological capabilities of the new camera installed in our smartphone .
Applications offered for the contest can be based both on the new Nokia Imaging SDK and on the native Windows Phone API for working with the camera and applications. Each participant is allowed no more than three ideas.
Immediately warn that the jury will strictly screen out incoming proposals on the subject of "used" ideas and concepts. We want each of the contestants to give free rein to their imagination and offer exactly the idea that will really surprise users.
Such a strict approach is justified by the prize fund of the competition. At the end of August, ten developers whose ideas will be the most interesting will go to the Swedish city of Lund to attend the Nokia Future / Capture Hackathon event. Here, the contestants will have the opportunity to realize their concept and create an application for Windows Phone 8 with the functionality that they have in mind.
The developer, who won the first place, will be invited to a special event, where his application will be officially presented to the public. The winning application will be promoted through Nokia’s official channels, and the Windows Phone Store will appear among the recommended ones. In addition, Hackathon participants, who took first and second place, will receive new Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphones for personal use.
Application for participation in the contest with a description of the application can be submitted on the official page of the competition .
Please note, there is very little time left: the deadline for registration of participants is July 31, 2013 . So it is worth hurry!
