Effeckt.css from the HTML5 Boilerplate team: selected effects and CSS transitions

Effeckt.css is a constantly updated selection of effects for the design of web applications. One of the main advantages of this library of effects is quite strict inclusion criteria. This is not a heap-small into which everything is dumped, each effect must meet several criteria: effects must be practical, their purpose is not to demonstrate the capabilities of technologies, but to facilitate and decorate the user's life, they must work quickly and smoothly, they must be completely compatible with mobile technology.

The idea of creating such a collection was suggested by Paul Irish only about a month ago, and she relished the community, including such recognized web development authorities as Lee Verow and Chris Coyer. Less than twenty days after launch, the Effeckt.css repository has more than 4500 stars and almost 500 forks. The project curators are the HTML5 Boilerplate team, the most popular start-up template for creating web applications.

Effeckt.css is written using Sass and Grunt.js. You can see a demonstration of the effects that make up the library here . Effects are grouped by module — buttons, page transitions, modal dialogs, and so on. The plans for the near future - the creation of a page-designer to select only the desired effects to a particular developer, and, of course, the further completion of the collection.
