Task: install VMware ESXi 5.1 on Intel NUC (DC3217BY) .
Problem: NUC (DC3217BY) does not have an Ethernet port, instead there is a Thunderbolt port, an Apple Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter was used.
Solution: Add information about Broadcom NetXtreme BCM57762 Gigabit Ethernet to the archive with the tg3 driver. (Vend: Dvid = 14e4: 1682). I have the rules etc / vmware / driver.map.d / tg3.map and usr / share / hwdata / driver.pciids.d / tg3.ids from net_tg3.v00
