Competition of mobile applications for the city of Moscow App Contest'13
We invite Android developers to participate in the competition of urban mobile applications based on the Unified Mobile Platform (UMPS) of Moscow .
The competition for the best application that solves urban tasks and makes everyday life of the residents of the metropolis easier and more pleasant, is held from July 17 to September 20, 2013 in conjunction with the Department of Information Technology of the city of Moscow .

Call for applications: July 17 - September 20, 2013.
Announcement of results: October 11, 2013 expert jury headed by the Acting Head of the Information Technology Department of the City of Moscow, Artem Yermolayev, will announce the winners of the “City Mobile Application on the Android Platform” at the 4th International Apps4All Mobile Developer Forum .
Step 1. You need to register on the contest website and get access to the personal account of the EMP developer. From this point on, you will be able to use all the features of the platform:
Step 2. Provide a description of the application idea for smartphones and tablets on the OS using the EMP API.
Step 3. Send a link for a free download of a working prototype or final product on the Android OS, created on the basis of the previously announced concept.
Everyone who is willing to implement their projects to solve urban problems in the format of a mobile application on Android OS using the EMP API is invited to participate in the competition.
Moscow needs fresh ideas, and we are ready to help implement them. In May 2013, developers gained access to the capabilities of the Unified Mobile Platform (UMB) of the city of Moscow . The EMP is an urban mobile services ecosystem that aims to facilitate access to open data and e-services in the city. The platform provides the work of all Moscow mobile applications and services, and the total audience of users of the EMP has more than 1.2 million people.

And what about the prizes?
- The main winner will receive a prize fund in the amount of 150 thousand rubles. and its application will become the official service recommended by the Moscow Government.
- Three development teams (1-3 places) will go to the Campus of startups and developers of Google in Tel Aviv.
