Microsoft Smart Watch: Empire Strikes Back

Not wanting to lag behind Apple, Microsoft is preparing its smart watch response in the Surface style, the report says.

A source inside the company said that AmongTech (smart watch prototypes) are already being tested by some Microsoft employees.

The same sources said the watches will be available in several color variations — red, yellow, black, gray, white, and blue — and that the watches will be made from Oxynitride Aluminum . The transparency of aluminum oxynitride is 80% of the transparency of glass, but it is four times stronger than glass.

Surface clock, reportedly, will work under the control of an adapted Windows 8. They can also be used independently of the smartphone.
