About the new edition
We are pleased to present a new edition of this famous book. Major changes in the new edition touched the chapter on garbage collection, new features of C # 5.0, the new Reflection API, as well as the development of an application for the Windows Store. Added new chapter on interaction with WinRT components. Also, the book, of course, was updated for new versions of Visual Studio 2012, .NET 4.5, C # 5 and Windows 8 (
Richter himself spoke about the changes in the new edition after the release of the original book).
For everyone who read the previous edition of CLR via C # - yes, we recognize that there were mistakes and inaccuracies in the terminology used in its preparation, and therefore special attention was paid to the translation and editing of the 4th edition. We sincerely hope that we managed to avoid critical errors this time (by the way, thank you very much for paying attention to them and sending feedback to our mail and leaving comments here on Habré!)
