The way to return offline maps in the new version of Google Maps

As probably many people already know, the latest Google Maps update (version 7.0) for Android removes the direct possibility of caching a part of the map for future use without an internet connection.

For some reason, Google decided to hide this “feature” so far away from the user's eyes - even with some irony hinting at a new product of the company.

Now, if you decide to upgrade to the current version, you can download the offline map if you specify the key phrase " OK Maps " in the search bar or say the same for voice search. After that, the maps will be available without a network.
