Greetings to all lovers and professionals of shopping in the US online stores.
The well-known eBay site has launched a new, very interesting service
Stuff by eBay (so far in beta status and obviously not everything works). This service allows you to track (in a broad sense, but not only delivery tracking, but also provides statistical information) all your purchases not only on eBay itself, but also on the rest of the US online stores.
')
NB Yes, it is worth noting that you will need to provide access to your mail account, where notifications from stores arrive.
First of all, the service will ask you to give it access to your mail account, the following services are supported:
- Gmail
- Yahoo!
- Hotmail
- AOL
- iCloud
While at the same time you can connect up to 5 different boxes.
As you can see in the screenshot, you can set various notifications about the delivery status of your product. Yes, there will never be information about the shipment of goods to Russia, if you use the services of forwarding companies, so a similar tool like TrackChecker is also needed, but you will not be able to enter some of the information there.
After scanning your mailbox service will open for you the wonderful world of your own purchases.
Shopping can be viewed in 4 sections:
- in time
- by price
- around the store
- by category
One of the most interesting pages of the service is the statistics of your customer profile.
Also interesting is the page duplicating the functionality of the above program for tracking purchases.
The service is still in beta status, so some of the pages are covered with plugs, some of the functionality that is already working is not 100% ready, for example, orders from one of my favorite
Nautica stores are not displayed in the system.
Yes, one of the interesting features is tracking the cost of the newly purchased product. And if the price drops, the system will notify you and you will be able to return the goods to the seller (in the US, this is not a problem). Very interesting functionality, since I ran into this several times: having bought a Sony PRS-T1 on B & H for $ 139, in a couple of hours I received a letter saying that they have 24 hours of stock and the reader is only $ 89.
Yes, you can connect your Facebook account to the service, but I don’t have one. I think you can automatically share your purchases.
And why is all this necessary? Well, I, as a couch analyst, I think that the main task on the part of eBay is to convince you that you bought all this for nothing and that it is necessary to immediately sell everything at auction! :)
PS: if you see a typo or some incorrect information, then please write in hp and I will make adjustments (although after 20 minutes I am leaving for a cottage there are raspberries, but with the Internet, everything seems to be in order).
