Smartphone with three interchangeable panels. The first in Russia. Highscreen Omega Prime XL

The company Highscreen announced the release of a new (this time - conceptual) smartphone Prime XL. The counter of the device is replaceable panels, of which there are three pieces in the set - black, white and lemon yellow. The latter, apparently, should be liked by fans of acid-techno ...

In my opinion, interchangeable panels are a good topic. For example, no need to spend money to update the appearance of the smartphone. In addition, it is practical: the device fell, the panel crashed - cling a new one. Also, the Highscreen press release on the Prime XL made me feel a little sad about the removable Nokia Xpress-on panels: the variety of shades, the way they squeaked and crunched on the phone. Let's hope that in this regard, Highscreen Prime XL will please, and all the panels will sit "like a glove."

The smartphone is built on a rather elderly platform SnapdragonS4 Play MSM8225Q - not to be confused with the 8225Q, which is included in the Snapdragon 200 system-on-chip family. The SoC has a 1.2-GHz quad-core CPU ARM Cortex-A5 and GPU Adreno 203. What say a typical budget. 2D games, unpretentious 3D-shooters and 720p video format - this is the lot of this platform. In theory. In practice, the same platform is used by Highscreen Omega Q. Which proved to be quite worthy in games. An overview of this smartphone, if anything, will be hung soon.

The amount of RAM 1 GB - the reasonable minimum, which allows you to actively use the smartphone. NAND memory is only 4 GB, but support for microSD memory cards saves the day. The screen of the smartphone is made using IPS technology, with qHD resolution, its diagonal size is 5.3 inches. The pixel density index is small - 208 ppi, but it is above the psychological mark of 200ppi, typical of the last year's displays. Obviously, Highscreen PrimeXL will be interesting to fans to sit in social networks, browse the Internet. You can access the Network either via a 3G modem or via Wi-Fi. Another smartphone is equipped with a Wi-Fi adapter, GPS-receiver and two cameras - 2 and 8 megapixels.

In my opinion, a very important feature of Highscreen Prime XL (well, after the panels, of course) is the presence of a 2800 mAh battery. Given that the display is only slightly more than five inches, and the hardware platform is quite economical in terms of power consumption, we can expect in this case 2 days of work in offline mode with a significant load (surfing, calls, photo / video, Wi-Fion) and 3 4 days with rare calls and SMS. And it is good!

Issue price - 10990 rubles.

PS Tomorrow, the female half (or rather, one third) of our team is threatening to publish its detailed look at Highscreen Prime XL.
