Modular monitor and all-in-one PC
The article proposes the concept of a modular monitor and a PC on an all-in-one basis.

What is now on the market for desktop systems:
- huge boxes of system units with a bunch of empty space inside and a bunch of wires
- mini PCs are limited in resources and still with wires
- the monoblocks which are not intended for an upgrade or expansion
What is offered:
- at the heart of the monitor 21.5 inches with LED backlight, IPS and Full HD 1920x1080 resolution (18.5 inches from 1366x768 - cheap model, 27 inches 2560x1440 or 4K - top model)
- housing made of aluminum panels, bolted on the back side
- the side of the monitor is multifunctional with universal mounting for the modules, includes 2 USB ports on each side, built-in speakers, audio jack
- the monitor video controller module is located at the back, to which functional modules are connected via HDMI: PC, TV tuner, Android board, DLNA / MHT adapter
- case completes VESA 100x100 mount for desk stand, wall mounting
Modules
Main functional modules and usage scenarios:
- without module = monitor with HDMI input
- TV tuner = TV
- TV tuner + Android = "smart" TV
- Android = gaming and Internet PC, learning station
- Intel Atom = Internet PC, office PC, learning station
- Intel i3, i5, i7 = home, office, gaming, work PC
- DLNA / MHT / m-HDMI adapter = telephone monitor
Front Panel Modules:
- PCT touch screen
- IR touch screen
At the top of the screen:
- Webcam
- LED notifiers
Sideways:
- speakers
- capture for a smartphone or tablet (USB port for charging and data - in the same sidebar)
- LED miter and other modding pieces
- stack module for second monitor
Behind:
- battery (backup and portable version)
- external HDD
- LED backlight (dynamic similar to lighpack or static like a lamp)
Below:
- docking keyboard for console use
- control buttons or shortcut
- sub woofer
Mounts:
- desktop
- to the pipe (for example, to organize an Internet cafe in 5 minutes)
- wall
- floor stand
Production and distribution:
- the device in China will be the most cheap and fast to make a device; from there you can also organize express delivery
- but due to the “open-source” concept of the device, the main and additional modules can easily be made by many Chinese or local companies, as well as on 3D printers
- therefore, the main point is to consolidate the idea of a modular device all-in-one on a single resource, including drawings and ideas for the main structure and modules
