Technorati introduces a new reference counting system.

The developers of the largest Technorati blog search engine reported that a month ago the site began using a new reference counting system that works "at the same time faster and more reliably."

The new system works in such a way that the number of links for each blog can change several times in one day. In fact, the number of incoming links has now become a dynamic parameter, and Technorati is now more consistent with the definition of “live search”.

Developers warn that at first some glitches may be observed on the site.
