IM History
I actually saw the guys at two conferences. At first I was skeptical about the startup ( IM History ), but when I changed the laptop I appreciated it.
The guys made a service that allows you to store and have access to the history of instant messengers. It is convenient if you have
- a lot of messengers (you can store the history centrally, and do a search immediately on the history of ICQ and Skype)
- if you use one account at work and at home (you see the whole story)
- if you need to transfer the system from one machine to another, do not need to backup history.
And in the end, you never know what will happen with the system, but the story is. And supported by many customers at once.
While I found two flaws. The first is the privacy. Your story is separate from you. Secondly, if there is no Internet, then there is no history.
