Although many news sources already had messages “Google Reader closed, how are we going to live?” (If you
look in the news , you can see the news for June 30), but the actual
closure took place around July 2, 2013 at 11:30 Moscow time ( at 0:30 Pacific time). First, local versions were closed (on google.ru), then a common option for everyone. But already there were jokes "Nothing closes, Google returned interest in RSS, Reader remains to live." Sorry, but we were wrong. Google itself offers
alternatives . As I understand it, rss-reader was not implemented in Google Plus.
The message says: “Google Reader has been disabled. We want to thank everyone who has stayed with us to the end. We understand that not all of you will agree with the decision, but we think that the alternatives you will like no less than the Reader.
Sincerely, Google reader team

http://google.com/reader/ looks like this
A bunch of alternatives like Feedly and Digg Reader, without further ado, just made an “Import from Google Reader” button on the main page, clearly showing their ancestor and mastermind (and a huge pool with a living niche that would be good to snatch oneself). Someone raises ready-made open source solutions for web readers. Someone, I'm sure, began to write a reading room for myself. There is nothing particularly difficult in the implementation of the reader itself, if you do not count on a high load.

A short and very sad list of alternatives:
- Inoreader . Visual copy of Google Reader. No built-in player for podcasts. There is a pda version . An unequivocal choice for me personally, for lack of a better one.
- G2Reader . “Temporarily” broke the import of OPML. There is no built-in podcast player. Unable to see recording time.
- Feedly . No SSL. The interface is not just bad, but very bad - I can’t even see the record creation time, I don’t know what platforms such an interface is being made, except for tablets. Feeds are added barely. Pictures from feeds are loaded in 10% -20% of cases. There is still no OPML import. In the black: different options for displaying the tape, which was not even in Google Reader, for example, display 4 entries per column per line.
- Digg Reader . It is not usable. At all. There is nothing. Dasha sorting is not set.
- AOL Reader . Closed beta test.
upd :
Fidley Reader already (12:20 MSK) cut off the Google-effect and died modestly, unable to withstand the gigantic load.
"Feedly is over capacity

Feedfetcher-Google; (+ http: //www.google.com/feedfetcher.html; Numbers subscribers) is still looking at sites in search of rss-feeds. No kidding
