Many are busy looking for solutions for ubiquitous replacement of passwords for more serious authentication mechanisms. The Google authentication rings did not have time to forget, as the tablets and tattoos from Motorola appeared. At the D11 conference held in May, a
representative from Motorola spoke about the ongoing work in the company to find new means of secure authentication. Two promising technologies were announced.
One of them is a tattoo (somewhere so people have already tagged ...). It should be noted that all the same we are talking about stickers in the form of a tattoo. It contains a chip that can be used for authentication. According to the speaker, the main advantage of such a solution is that such a “key” cannot be forgotten or lost. And this is really an important advantage. The use of such sticker chips for authentication is essentially the development of the MC10 solution, which is positioned as a means of monitoring the health status of patients. For example:

The next interesting topic was passwords-pills. It's all much more fun. In the morning you have breakfast and swallow authenticity authentication. The chip pill is triggered by gastric acid and begins to generate an 18-bit signal, similar to the ECG signal. A person becomes a walking token. When you touch an external device, a person will be able to exchange information with him for authentication. By the way, this technology is also medical. It was developed and tested in laboratories as a phone authentication mechanism.
I don’t know what technologies will replace passwords, but one thing is clear, many serious companies are working in this direction and it’s not long to wait for new products.
PS I wonder how to protect yourself from unauthorized re-use of the tablet? :)
