The GXV surveillance camera range has been supplemented with two HD outdoor-infrared cameras with infrared light. I want to share with you a brief overview.

')
The appearance of the GXV3672HD and GXV3672FHD cameras is exactly the same. The weatherproof casing is made of durable metal with a black matte finish and complies with the IP66 standard. There is also a black removable visor that covers the lens from the sun and rain, and there is a rear foot for mounting the camera on a wall or ceiling. Two fixing screws allow you to set any angle -900 +900 on the vertical plane and the angle of rotation along the longitudinal axis of the camera. The whole structure is made of high quality, durable and pleasant to the eye.

All interfaces for connecting the wires removed from the mounting feet - a connector for power, connector for analog video and LAN. Cameras support PoE work.

The package includes a camera, power supply, Ethernet cable, hexagon for fixing screws, dowels for installation, lining mounting foot.

The characteristics of both cameras from the brochure:

Due to the higher resolution of the GXV3672_FHD, the sensitivity and dynamic range of the matrix are slightly worse, but the differences are not visible with the naked eye under normal lighting, I also did not notice differences in picture quality and color transmission. Also in the FHD camera, there is less memory left for the buffer to alarm. With a full resolution of 3 Mb, the buffering video will last only 5 seconds, 10 seconds will not work.
Cameras were easy to set up and install. Immediately after receiving the network address automatically via DHCP, the camera is ready for operation. To display the picture you need to download a plugin for Explorer. It is located on the camera itself, so no additional internet connection is required. Connecting the camera to the GSurf Pro program, the new free camera control program from Grandstream, was also not difficult.
By default, the FHD camera is not set to the maximum resolution. Lower resolution in this setting is achieved by broadcasting the cut out central part of the full picture. The sharpness of the picture is maximum, but the review narrows down and less traffic. Because of this, the first impression is that the FHD camera has less lens viewing angles. But if you set the maximum resolution of 2048H x 1536V, then the viewing angles are the same as the younger HD model.
Below are the images from the GXV3672HD and GXV3672FHD cameras.

As for the other functions, cameras can automatically turn off the IR filter and switch to black and white depending on the lighting conditions.
Unfortunately, there are no additional chips in the camera, such as a speaker and a microphone, there are no external contacts for signaling.
Like all Grandstream surveillance cameras, motion detection is very finely tuned - you can specify many detection zones, each one can specify the response time range and sensitivity.

When an alarm is triggered, it is possible to send a video to an FTP server, call a SIP phone, and if it is a videophone, the video will also be broadcast, send an alarm to the monitoring server (for example, GSurf), send a snapshot by email.

Numerous infrared illumination diodes provide very good visibility of the camera in complete darkness, if there is no fog, you can see even further than the stated 30 meters.
In general, the cameras left a good impression, Granstream adequately covered the missing niche of outdoor cameras with infrared illumination and will make a worthy competition to other manufacturers.
