For everyone who wanted to deal with Lua (a scripting language for game development and not only a list ), but didn’t find the time, Tyler Neylon prepared a small gift:

Dedicated to anyone who prefers one large list of self-contained snippets of code (with a few comments to 95% of cases) to long manuals with a huge hierarchy. Very convenient for those who already know how to program and just would like to deal with a new language for themselves. The whole “mega-snippet” is in English, but examples are easy to read.
PS And for everything else there is a Hyperpolyglot .
