"MTU-Intel" increases the speed of data transmission for users of "Stream"
Since October 1, MTU-Intel (the Stream trademark) has increased the data transfer rate on all current unlimited tariff plans Stream Internet and Stream TV, intended for private users. According to the company's press release , the speed of Internet access has been increased to the next speed threshold: from 160 to 256 Kbps, from 256 to 320 Kbps, etc. The subscription fee and the name of the tariff plans have not changed.
At the same time, “MTU-Intel” cancels the condition of a “penalty” decrease in the access speed, which was valid when the amount of traffic on all unlimited tariff plans was exceeded. Previously, when a subscriber exceeded the traffic threshold of 20 or 30 GB (depending on the tariff), the access speed was reduced to 16 Kbps for three consecutive months. This “penalty” clause, still used in the practice of most Internet providers, is directed against the uncontrolled downloading of information and the overload of channels during peak hours.
