Church dissatisfied with the father-blogger

The Diocesan Council of the Belarusian Orthodox Church recommended that the priest Alexander Shramko leave the activity on the Internet and “concentrate his strength on shepherding,” reports “Komsomolskaya Pravda - Belarus” . The dissatisfaction was caused by the recordings in the Live Journal of Father Alexander - they, according to the church, did not correspond to the high rank of an Orthodox priest.

In particular, the thought of Alexander’s father about such a phenomenon as a civil marriage was condemned: judging from the priest’s records, made, as he confessed, “on emotions”, it was possible to conclude that the church approves of premarital relations. Batiushka-blogger was called for a "joint conversation" and, apparently, after him deleted his account on LiveJournal.com. According to representatives of the church, parishioners pointed out the mistakes of Father Alexander.
