Gigapixel view of Mars from Curiosity

The rover Curiosity continues to do its work regardless of whether they write about it on Habré, or not. However, this work is so interesting that it is simply impossible not to write about it. For example, now NASA has laid out the gigapixel panorama of Mars, which was collected from several hundred (more than 800) different pictures.

To view the panorama, you should follow this link . Among other things, the same panorama can be viewed from your hard drive if you download its compressed version (a little more than 150 MB). Of course, there is a detailed description of what can be seen in the picture.

All the material was filmed in October-November last year, at the site Roknest. I would like to believe that soon NASA will lay out something no less interesting.

About 850 photos were taken with the help of the camera (long-focus) Mastercam voiced already on Habré. In addition, an additional 21 photographs were taken with a wide-angle camera, and black-and-white photographs (there are 25 of them) were taken with the Navcam navigation camera.
