Google has completely redesigned the
Google Reader thread aggregator interface. The updated version of the program acquired a more standard look and became similar to the best representatives of this class of programs, that is,
Bloglines and
Rojo .
Google Reader, although generally inferior to Bloglines, but has several interesting features that distinguish it from its competitors. For example, it allows you to subscribe to a stream by entering the URL of the site’s main page. The program will independently find RSS feeds on the indicated site and will sign you up to the main one.
Subscription by keywords is also available. In the subscription box, you can enter the search terms, and a list of suitable streams will immediately appear on the screen.
