Looking at the RSS reader for the night (by the way,
I chose FeedDemon, they say it doesn’t lose subscriptions, unlike Thunderbird) brought some interesting news -
one comrade got a document in his hands describing the planned features of the Windows Mobile 7 operating system. A man writes that the document dated last summer, and implementation details may be different in the final. In general, Microsoft plans to change our "experience" of communication with mobile phones.
From the title, you probably already realized that
one of the features would be multitouch . But how much interesting is not the implementation of a
multi- wheelbarrow, but the fact that the whole GUI will be “touch”. Like the iPhone. Styluses will go retro. I especially want to note that the source document contains links directly to the Apple iPhone. And this is in the MS document :).
Screenshots of the interface:

Two screenshots above, MS wants to say and do so that when the phone is locked, it does not stupidly copy iPhone Slide to unlock, but also add a bit of interactivity to screensaver. Either drawing, or a fun "game" with fish.

It seems clear. A little iPhone, but I am glad that the boys are working immediately context menu and copy / paste :)
Another chip in the OS is to make motion gestures - “Gestures with a mobile phone in motion” based on gyroscopes and accelerometers.

This is how the Media Player-om control will look like. Tilt to the right - next song. left - prev. "Shake" the phone - get random :)

In the same manner, you can control the web-browser.

Or shake your straw to wake it up.
The plans of MS processing GUI . For the stones were running in the garden on this occasion is not enough. It is clear that everything will be controlled through our fingers. Sliding in all 2 axes. Also, a refusal in the GUI is coming: these are static scrollbars :), and in plans to add heaps of animation and various transitions.

New scroll.

An example of an animated "transition" GUI when the pipe wakes up.

Another example of the "transition" during the sliding of a finger on the program interface.
Well, for a snack just cool GUI camera mode:
Total:All this is not expected before 2009. In the document they write that GUI + OS should be a good opposition to iPhone. Until 2009, there’s still more, and Apple may again be one step ahead.
All the pictures are hardly final in appearance. It is now the fashion for "glass", in a friend in the new year, designers, something new will open.
For other pictures go to the original. But they are not very informative there.
Plus, the author of the news, asks to understand that desktop like IE and Office 2007 in the screenshots are bastards. Surely MS is working on it too, but this is not reflected in the document.
PS I ask for the confusion of the material, but this is not my craft :) and even at 4:20 in the morning :)
PSS Please do not breed holivars. It is clear that MS wants to catch up with Apple on GUI, and if everything is like iPhone + copy / paste + Office Mobile + SDK - the product may turn out to be good too :) Be objective :)
