The prohibition of the collection, storage, dissemination of information about someone else's privacy
The President of Russia introduced the State Duma on Friday (June 14, 2013) in the second reading adopted such amendments to the Civil Code, which prohibit the collection, storage, and dissemination of information about private privacy.
However, it seems likely that the amendments will immediately jeopardize some of the technologies currently used by social networks. The practice of collecting and cumulatively publishing photographs of a person through face recognition in photographs laid out (and not even marked) by his acquaintances may come to naught.
