Often I am without the Internet and I would like to spend this time with benefit, for example, read Wikipedia articles :) Sometimes, when absolutely no way, I open many, many bookmarks with articles and then sit and read. Because of this, it is necessary not to close the browser. Naturally, this is inconvenient, it is impossible to see which articles I have already read, to follow the update, etc. As well as the opportunity to open / read the article for the second and subsequent times. Do you understand? How convenient it would be to load a list of words of interest into the program and go about your business while the client is downloading articles. And then, when there is no work, do “self-education” :)
I would be very happy if I was advised to have something like an offline Wikipedia viewer. I think there is one :)
And if not, here are a few ideas for implementation in the program:
* downloading articles by entered words
* history of read articles
* checking articles updates
(so far everything, but I think it may appear more)
Ps. Initially, the question was about a computer program, but gradually, delving into the idea, I found the implementation of such a program for PDAs and smartphones interesting. This problem is sharper there, isn't it? Especially with our internet :)
