I am very interested in a project that is in the development stage, and only after 6 weeks will it be released in the alpha version,
Cairo Shell .
Let me remind you, the guys write a shell for Windows - they make both the desktop and their explorer (a lot of poppy chips are torn off). For example, they implement an analogue of Leopard Spaces. An old
screen .
')
Explorer by the way looks like
this .
Many believe that the project will never be completed (some screens are not screens, but concepts). Well, there is a reason for this - the release dates for the version are not provided, all posts on the news page.
I believe in them, I do not know why.
But the theme of the post - new screens. The guys posted the other day 3 new pictures, which I am in a hurry to show you.

This is an analogue start menu, a bit like the top panel in Gnome.

This is their explorer, Temka is somehow terrible, but the buttons in the toolbar are encouraging, the ability to flip through pictures and files in different ways (generally seems to be CoverFlow’s analogues).

So it looks full. Alas, the screens are not in full size.
Thanks for attention.
P.S. Many thanks to those who raised my karma. I am writing only thanks to you.
