Photoshop color picker on jQuery

Recently, it took me in my project to realize the choice of color, there was a choice to use a ready-made solution or to write myself. Fast Google search did not give any suitable implementation. It was decided to write your own.




One of the requirements was to come up with a human look that I can’t imagine even the smallest primordial design skills, and the implementation of color choices in Photoshop seems ideal to me. Therefore, the functionality with minor changes is completely copied from there.

Maybe someone will be interested in my work. You can use in your projects without any restrictions. Works in all browsers with support for canvas. An example of use is available on Gitkhub. I don’t see much point in copying here.

In addition to jQuery, you have to connect jQuery UI sections to core, widget, mouse, slider. Connecting css and images from jQuery UI is not required. Everything you need is already included in colorPicker.css.
