The megapixel race almost came up against the ceiling, but manufacturers do not stop and push more and more megapixels. The race of megahertz has long been - just numbers in benchmarks, but manufacturers tirelessly conquer new peaks of gigahertz. The race of the screens rests on the size of the user's hands and trousers. However, the race permits - is not yet over. Retina displays from Apple. Well, now - FullHD in smartphones. Think about it - resolution like a wall-mounted TV in your pocket. Sounds like a simple advertising slogan? Not. This is reality.

Box and equipment
The box at Oppo immediately unusual. Rather outwardly, it is an ordinary brick.

But in fact - the claws on the magnetic lock elegantly swing open, exposing the inside of the box.

Inside, the smartphone itself, a headset, a charger, a usb cable, an instruction and a paper clip (for a sim card).

Accessories are very suitable for the phone, the style is sustained and pleasant.
Even a paper clip - in the form of a branded stylized letter O.

From all sides
The smartphone is a monoblock, tightly assembled. The case is white matte plastic. Not soft-touch, not varnish, everything is as it should. There are no prints at all, the dirt does not absorb.
The front side is covered with glass Gorilla Glass 2 - I hope that it will not collect scratches, at least as in some smartphones (see my previous review).

The display is the main advantage of the smartphone. This is a 5 inch FullHD IPS matrix (it used to be a WOW factor in 15 inch laptops!).
Viewing angles are great. The color rendition is excellent. There are small shoals in white, but it seems to me that this is in my particular sample.
The screen brightness is enough, you can see everything in the sun (although less colorful). No grain, of course. Still, 441 ppi does its job.

The sensor at the display is responsive, supports 10 touches.
Immediately below the screen - touch buttons back, home, menu. They seemed inconvenient to me - very often I caught the accidental pressing "home" when I pressed the spacebar on the keyboard.
The backlighting of the buttons is weak, blue. In the dark, of course, helps. And in the afternoon - not visible.

At the bottom there is a microphone and microUSB (slightly shifted to the right, which is convenient).

At the top - headset jack.

On the left - the power button, as well as a slot for a micro-SIM card (gets a clip). The power button is convenient, but sticks out a little from the case (although it may seem like a plus to someone).

Right - the volume rocker. By the way, the plastic material is very cool. Brilliant and translucent.

On the back of Oppo is the Oppo logo itself, a 13 MP camera and a speaker (with a projection so that the device is not jammed on the table).

The front camera, speaker, proximity sensors, as well as the indicator of missed events - on the front panel (under the glass).

Software part
Software stuffing - sly Chinese Android Jelly Bean. That is, branded oppovskaya shell.

It looks worse than the runoff, but clearly better than iOS 7;)
Settings, for example, are divided into sections (tabs): General - where you can configure wireless interfaces

Sound (here it is clear that the settings relate to sound)

Screen (brightness, screen lock, auto-rotate, notification indicator, etc.)

Security (here immediately a bunch of different settings, including accounts).

Most standard applications are stylized as a corporate Oppo-style. Due to this, the smartphone looks very collected (everything is very similar inside) and neat. Oppo programmers knowingly eat their own bread!

Lock screen (three types available - slider, card and ring).

The multitasking screen is somewhat similar, again to the iPhone (new), or HTC.

Benchmarks (numbers lovers)
On hardware stuffing, everything is fine - Snapdragon S4 pro, 2 GB of RAM. All right!
Therefore, in synthetics we get very good numbers.

Of course, not without a spoon of tar. All this beauty needs something to feed. And it loves to eat. In the end, the device I barely survived until the evening. And I couldn’t do anything with it. This is a kind of fee for stuffing and frills. Perhaps it is repairable software.

Total
Total we have: great design, excellent build, awesome stuffing, gorgeous screen and, honestly, a weak battery. All this is seasoned with a cunning branded shell. In my opinion, the device is good, but the battery was pushed, of course, not enough for a Full HD screen. And I used to use the active smartphone, but for several days. Therefore, it looks like a shovel. And I will wait to improve the optimization of battery consumption or a larger battery. And so the machine is necessary!

The price of the device is about 19 thousand rubles. However, if you order from abroad, it will be traditionally cheaper.
