IOS 7 for iPhone Review

Yesterday iOS 7 for developers appeared. Since developer.apple.com lay until the morning, I managed to download and install it only this morning.

Installed iOS pretty quickly. After installation, the converted phone settings screen appears.




After the configuration is complete, the home screen usually appears.


In the second screenshot, I managed to capture the moment of animation. Now when you open the folder, it seems to be unfolded layer on top of the home screen, and does not slide down as before.



Now the search does not occur on the "zero" page of the home screen, but when you slide down on any page.

And this, I believe, is the most awaited feature in iOS. Quick control of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc., flashlight, and quick access to applications. Well, as usual, the management of music, brightness and orientation of the screen.



One of the coolest features of iOS 7 is improved multitasking. Now with a double click home button, this appears. And that's cool.



When you slide down from the top, an “old new” curtain appears. In this form, I like it more. More convenient, plus you can only show events for today, or missed.



The weather app has been updated, and it's just awesome! Information about the weather in a convenient form + weather animation on the background of the application.






The new camera also delighted the reworked design, and built-in instagram-like effects.




In the application "Watch" nothing particularly new. Is that a new design.




I didn’t use the maps of the eppl before, so I can’t evaluate their novelty, but, like, nothing special.

When installing the application, the Apple logo on the black background blinked a couple of times, as a result, the application was installed, but did not start.

Now the wallpaper can be of two types: Dynamic, and fixed. Dynamic wallpaper (Hello Android) - animated, fixed - just a picture, as before.



In general, iOS is not as wretched as it seemed to me at first glance during WWDC. There are a lot of minor bugs, but I think everything will be perfect for the release, and they will finish the flaws in the design and functionality.
