Sistema Mass Media (SMM) unites all its cable networks, as well as Kosmos-TV , MTU-Intel , Digital TV, into a single brand Stream. The new company will sell pay-TV services through all possible types of delivery to the final consumer, the newspaper Vedomosti reports. The new company will be headed by Grigory Novitsky, who previously held the post of general director of MTU-Intel. The federal Stream television advertising campaign will begin shortly. Its budget has not been officially announced, but according to Vedomosti, this year the volume of investments made by SMM in organic growth of cable TV amounted to $ 180 million. In 2007, investments in the development of the combined company Stream will be $ 50-70 million, $ 25 million of which will spend on upgrading equipment. The company's plans are to discuss about 10 million households by 2009.
