Regional wireless broadband access operator
Enforta acquired 51% of shares of
ArtCommunications Ltd , a similar operator operating in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Upon completion of the transaction, both parties expanded their business opportunities: Enforta will now begin to connect large corporations in Moscow and St. Petersburg, ArtCommunications will work with clients from regions of the Russian Federation.
According to Lee Sparkman, president of Enforta, the company's initial strategy was to focus on regional markets where competition is relatively low. The expansion of the service to Moscow and St. Petersburg in the plans was listed, but it took place earlier - due to the expanded client base.
“Due to the lack of additional radio frequencies, the only way to enter the capital markets was to find a strategic partner owning this scarce resource,” said Leigh Sparkman. It is worth noting that the absorption of broadband wireless operators for Enforta is customary - in a press release, this factor, along with the construction of its own networks, is noted as a component of the company's rapid growth.
