It so happened that the 21st century came, but the free space in the house did not increase, and with the advent of “modern” technologies, I decided to reduce the number of wires and connect all the TV equipment in the house over the network and
broadcast video through the media server
Began to study the materiel
Devices
')
In my case
- TV LG
32LM585T -
media player (DMP, English digital media players)
certificate
-
Zyxel Keenetic Giga II DMS router, eng. digital media servers (there is no certificate on dlna.org, miniDLNA server in firmware v2)
The devices are connected to each other
twisted pair
It follows from the
DLNA standard that the network uses
UPnP Audio and Video 1.0 and UPnP
Device Architecture 1.0 for detecting and managing devices and media streams.
After reviewing all the information there are no transmission restrictions, and the receipt is limited by the capabilities of the TV (DMP)
As a result, everything is very convenient, only 3 cables go to the TV: LAN, power and still an antenna (
iptv is still in the project)
But a little problem arose when entering
LG TV refused to choose audio tracks, but the materiel has already been studied and the exact audio format is in
the DLNA certificate .
Appealed to the manufacturer LG_care_center@lge.com with the question "what could be the matter?"
The answer came -
The TV supports DLNA, but there is no possibility to choose a sound track file, this is not the specificity of the TV, but the DLNA protocol.

- grammar saved
then again -
When playing a file on DLNA there is no possibility to change the audio track:
www.lg.com/ru/support/product-help/CT20206004-CT20206007-1358497185207
- but I did not use these programs
then again -
The specifics of software execution in LG Electronics TVs does not allow the use of the function of changing sound tracks when using the DLNA protocol.
This function is implemented when a USB drive is connected.
- yes, there are no problems with USB (it means that the codec is supported), but there is no information anywhere why it does not work
This information is not provided by the company, as this is a feature of software development.
- I do not develop, I use the technique
The situation described by you is not a defect of equipment, but its technical feature, so we cannot help you with repairs.
CONCLUSION: Do not use LG TV for DLNA!
LG Electronics is misleading its customers.
