DARPA prosthesis - a true technological miracle.

A small article about a new prosthesis was published last night, which looks very unusual, one might even say, futuristic. In the comments slipped information that there is even more modern prosthesis, which allows you to manage all the "iron" with the help of the muscles and nerves of his hand. In this case, there is even a feedback, and the person feels a touch on the “fingers” of the prosthesis. Indeed, such a prosthesis exists, although it is still under development. All this is being developed in the framework of the program RE-NET (Reliable Neural-Interface Technology).

The goal of the program is to create a new type of prosthesis interface that would allow mechanics to interact with nerves and muscles. Needless to say, it sounds absolutely fantastic, but, in fact, the technology is already on its way to implementation. Moreover, there are quite working prototypes of the prosthesis.
