On Habré, several articles and notes about the secret government program to collect user / client data from technology companies have already appeared. Various types of information are published on the Web - technology companies themselves deny participation in such programs, but materials also appear that confirm the possibility of collecting user data by the US government. Recently, the famous publication "
The Guardian " published another slide from the 41-page NSA / NSA (United States National Security Agency) presentation on PRISM and related programs. It turned out that PRISM is not everything.
The US government, as far as can be understood from the slide, has two ways of obtaining data, according to the FISA Amendment Act of 2008 (revised in December 2012). One option is to collect data from the servers of specified companies; this program is called PRISM. And the second option is to connect to the network infrastructure, including fiber, for additional data.

Of course, it may be that this presentation is only planning the introduction of these methods of data collection into the work. Or NSA employees discussed the possibility of implementing user data monitoring.
Most likely, after all this hype, in a few days / weeks we will get a fairly complete picture of what is happening. But in any case, it looks all not very nice for the end user. And not only for the user.
And yes, just a few hours ago, Google representatives once again
stated that the government has no access to the company's servers, either direct or indirect.
