It is reported that a total of 29 entries were submitted to the competition. In determining the winners, preference was given to courses that are already being read. “We tried to select works representing different adjacent areas and oriented at different levels of audience preparation,” says Igor Nekrestyanov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (NIIMM SPbU), a member of the jury of the competition. - An important advantage was the possibility of self-training on materials that will be published on the Internet. Among the winning works there are both fundamental theoretical courses and those aimed at teaching practical skills of searching in the network. The themes of the works are quite diverse - this is classical information retrieval, corpus linguistics, and multimedia. Prize courses are taught at Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, Voronezh, Kazan and Perm State Universities, Turku University (Finland), St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, International Solomon University in Kiev.
