Google is working on cyberpunk stuff

Former Director of DARPA Agency Regina Dugan (Regina Dugan) is now heading the Motorola Special Projects Division; at the D11 conference held by AllThingsD, she showed some interesting gadgets that are still far from the actual commercial implementation, but they can still give an idea of the possible plans of Google.

Electronic tattoo (electronic tattoo) BioStamp production company MC10 , with which Motorola collaborates, is a thin silicone strip imprinted in her flexible electronics - photo detectors, temperature sensors, LED-matrix and other things. The complexity and miniature of the device, which is glued to the skin of the owner, can be judged by the photo:

Although the initial meaning of the MC10 development was medical purpose - monitoring various parameters of the patient's body - Motorola plans to use BioStamp as a wearable authentication and data storage tool. In other words, in the form of a password that is almost impossible to forget or lose. Regina herself probably already uses the development of her department:

The second shown project is still “closer to the body”. This is an “electronic tablet” that can be swallowed and will generate a special 18-bit signal that will also be used for authentication. The tablet works for about 30 days from the acidic component of the owner's gastric juice and, as Regina says, presents no problems for humans. What happens to the device inside after the specified period is not reported.
