There was a press release about the new Texet phone - TM-607TV. This is exactly the phone, that is, there is no Android in it. Although, if you look at the photos, then you can suspect the presence of the specified operating system here - at least take the keys below the screen.

They are exactly the same as in the previous generation Android smartphones. Probably, the Asian developers took the case from the smartphone and inserted the stuffing from the usual touchscreen mobile phone on the Taiwanese MediaTek chipset.

The interface is also well disguised as Android - see the icon captions on the main screen. Similarly, the inscriptions looked in Android 2.3 and older versions. The screen resolution - 320 x 480 pixels - is also typical of old and cheap Android backgrounds.
But TM-607TV has, of course, differences from the latter. Firstly, the phone does not support 3G and Wi-Fi, whereas all modern Android devices with the “third generation” are compatible. (I remember, once there was a model on Android without Wi-Fi, it seems, Acer, but now this is no longer there.)
A 1.3-megapixel camera in the smartphone is also not to be found, analog TV tuner - all the more. Samsung once released a couple of phones with this function, but apparently, they were sold moderately, and there was no mass mobile TV in this implementation.

Worth Texet TM-607TV 2 100 rubles (about $ 65). Smiles the fact that Android smartphones are already very close to this mark - let’s recall MegaFon Login for 2,600 rubles (about $ 83).
Do you think someone needs touch
phones or not? It is clear that the push buttons are still needed, because there are the same elderly people who find it difficult to get used to the touchscreen, but the touch ones?
