The new game system in Human Asteroids was tested by the founder of Atari (video)

Despite the fact that the first computer games, such as Pong, Human Asteroids, and others, were already several decades old, they are still popular. In Pong, for example, they are now playing on the walls of large buildings. And in Human Asteroids they play with their own bodies, however, we also need a small spaceship on which the body “flies”. Asteroids are projected right on the floor.

In general, in this form, the old games may well attract the current generation, especially children. You can imagine a huge gaming attraction, where everyone’s goal is to shoot as many asteroids as possible (and maybe even opponents). The system turned out so interesting that the founder of Atari Nolan Bushnell decided to test it (here is a detailed article about him on Habré).

Oh yes, you can shoot asteroids with a mobile phone that you have in your hands. Pressing the buttons of this phone launches “projectiles” that fly straight into the target. Well, or by the goal, that's how it goes. A laser system is used to display asteroids. And to track the movements of the player - the notorious Kinect.
