Do you use the stop button in the music player?

In the past few years there has been a tendency to remove the “stop” button from the music player interface. For example, there is no such button in Ubuntu (Rhythmbox), on Mac OS X (iTunes), on Android, on iOS.

So, in the case of Rhythmbox, if you do not have a “stop” button on the multimedia keyboard (in this case, “stop” does work - although the interface has neither a button nor an item in the menu) to achieve an effect that would from the stop button, you need to pause the music, and then close Rhythmbox. Or choose the last song and flush it to the end.

Otherwise, when you click on the "play" playback starts from the same place (which is quite logical for the "pause" button), which is not always appropriate (especially for music). Or, instead of playing, you have to press a button to play the previous song (in order to start playing the current song from the beginning).

Do you personally like this solution? Do you agree that the stop button is superfluous? Or is it not worth it to clean everywhere?
