winter - it's time for viruses!

Yesterday my colleagues killed several hours and one computer.

For some of our partners, it was decided to make New Year's gifts in the form of a ballpoint pen-stick. Those were ordered in the right quantity (hundreds and hundreds of pieces).
The idea is that flash drives should be empty ...
But the surprise was waiting for the first pen - when installing into USB, the autorun suddenly started.
Despite the presence of antivirus in the system (Avast), the animal still caught in the system.
The computer, thank God, recently got a fresh, safe scanner, which was successfully applied after trying to clean the computer with an antivirus.
The rest of the flash drive went under night formatting.

Of course, the contractor got on the head and apparently in court will deal with his supplier, especially since the manufacturer of flash drives is a very famous company in Russia.

The moral of this story is as follows: when receiving a New Year's gift - do not forget to format it to protect against the virus :)
