At a meeting with representatives of the Internet industry, Sergey Mironov spoke about the fact that he had already created a blog in LiveJournal and plans to start writing it in January.
In addition, he told how he organized the process of working with e-mail - he prints letters to the Chairman of the Federation Council and he reads them when free time is given. On the day of Sergei Mironov, 30-50 letters arrive — after the elections, the flow of letters has increased significantly.
However, the very purpose of meeting Sergey Mironov with Internet users was not a story about the penetration of state officials into the Runet, but a collection of questions and suggestions on what legislative initiatives would be useful for the Runet.

According to Sergey Mironov, the legislative process regarding the Runet is somewhat frozen, and I would like to pour a fresh stream into it. This fresh stream will be sent to parliamentary hearings, which will be held in February-March 2008. The main purpose of the Federation Council will be to adjust the legislation to reflect the current Internet realities.
The communication took place in an informal setting, and although some of those present Sergey Mironov asked for their abstracts written on sheets of paper, in general, everything went in the spirit of cooperation, and not submission.
Natalya Loseva, the head of the web editorial office of RIA Novosti, who was present at the meeting, noted that a large number of runetians have iPhones on their hands and considered symbolic calendars donated by Sergey Mironovo.
The question remains: indeed, he himself will keep his diary,
or will it be done for him watered-technologists and the press service?
