IBM has published the second annual list of innovations that (according to IBM) will change our lives in the next 5 years:
1. All equipment in the house can be controlled from a mobile phone or from a browser, the equipment will also be controlled by certain centralized “smart” devices, which will help save money and take better care of the environment. Also, electricity will be obtained from natural sources such as solar and wind energy.
2. Your driving style will change. More and more electronics, driver assists, information about traffic jams will allow you to choose the best path, save fuel. Smart traffic lights will choose the duration of green and red colors in such a way as to minimize traffic jams.
3. You will know what to eat. New programs and radio sensors will allow you to find out the exact composition of each product. You will also learn information about the climate of the place, the weather and temperature conditions of the homeland of products before you eat them.
4. Your cell phone will be your wallet, travel card, shop assistant and more. Online maps, information about the current location, nearby objects, questions to friends and answers to them, etc. (everything is predictable :))
5. Doctors with the help of new sensory devices will be able to more accurately determine the diagnosis. Also, doctors will be able to take notes on a 3D model of your body, for greater clarity of the whole process. Special devices will compare your numbers with thousands of other patients, helping you to make a more accurate diagnosis.
