Chrome 28 Beta for Android came out with integrated Google Translate

Google Inc. has introduced a new Chrome browser beta for Android OS. The beta version of Chrome 28 came out with several updates, the main of which (and the most interesting) can be called built-in support for Google Translate. In other words, when you visit a website from your mobile device, and this website is in an unfamiliar language, you can easily translate the resource on your smartphone / tablet.

Until now, this feature has been relevant only for the desktop version of the Chrome browser. According to those who have already tried out the new version at work, there are some glitches when translating sites. Sometimes Chrome for Android completely “refuses” to translate something, sometimes a message appears saying that “everything is ready”, but in fact the language remains the source.

Nevertheless, the built-in translation feature is already there, and for many of us it may be useful. Of course, if the developers do not decide to “cut out” Google Translate from their next version of their mobile browser, then we should expect a more stable work of the translator.

Among other things, the latest update added the possibility of full-screen mode for tablets, plus support for the API for full-screen mode Google. Download the new version of the browser for Android, as always, here .
