Video review monoblock (tablet) ASUS Transformer P1801

ASUS Transformer AiO P1801 is a new hybrid of a tablet and a monoblock from ASUS, or rather, two separate devices that can be used both together (monoblock) and separately (tablet and system unit). The main unit runs on third-generation Intel Core processors and Windows 8. The Nvidia GeForce GT730M graphics card is responsible for the graphics. The amount of RAM is from 4 to 8 GB. In a monoblock installed hard drives with a capacity of 1 to 2 TB.



The tablet module is equipped with an IPS display with a diagonal of 18.4 inches and a resolution of 1920x1080. The device works on the basis of the quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 and OS Android 4.1. The amount of RAM is 2 GB, and a 32 GB storage is available for data storage.



In tablet mode, you can use Windows 8 applications anywhere in the room, the display acts as a remote terminal with a touch interface, and to exchange data between the display and the base you only need to connect them together to the same wireless network.

This device has one more use case: connect an external monitor to the base and get a stationary PC with Windows 8 and a completely independent Android tablet.
