Now, euclideon ( website ) has uploaded a new video in which they tell about their program - geoverse , which uses the very magic voxel search algorithm. The data obtained from the laser scanners of the area are sorted at a speed of 3.5 billion points per hour, compressed up to 17% of the initial size (depending on the desired quality), after which they can be viewed “straight from the screw” - without loading all into the ram. It is also possible to view data from a flash drive, or via the Internet - in real time. For the slow Internet there is a special option that increases the resolution of the image as new data becomes available.
